Advanced video assist system From IN2CORE compliments Adimex's range of professional products for video and film productionSydney, Australia - Leading digital media and storage product distribution company, Adimex, has announced that it has been appointed as the Australian and New Zealand distributor of IN2CORE's new QTAKE HD, a highly advanced video assist system. Designed and developed for video assist professionals, QTAKE HD is a powerful yet easy-to-learn system that integrates every aspect of modern video assist into a single solution. QTAKEHD has application on the sets of television and feature film productions including those utilising RED cameras and stereoscopic techniques.
With the addition of this sophisticated system to its product range, Adimex is offering its dealer channel the opportunity to provide solutions to a broader range of the film and video marketplace. QTAKE HD operates with Macintosh systems fitted with AJA capture and playback cards, also distributed by Adimex. Many of the products distributed by Adimex address the production and post-production marketplaces, but this is the first product to directly address video assist.

The QTAKE HD software application has been utilised in real production environments and allows users to log, capture, playback, edit and process the video output of digital cinema cameras. Key features include instant record and playback, a powerful clip database, intensive image processing in real time, extensive logging capabilities, rapid shot selection with a tree-based visual browser, a simple and intuitive nonlinear editor, import and export, real-time overlay with blending, keying and wipe functions and RED ONE(TM) support.
Stereoscopy support has recently been added to QTAKE HD with industry standard 3D output in live and playback mode.
